Happy Autumn Morning & Relaxing Jazz Instrumental Music at Outdoor Coffee Shop Ambience for Working

Today is a Good Day to have a Good Day.

Dear Families,

We hope you have had a great week. We just want to say thank you for the support you provide our school and our community. We enjoy the times that you volunteer, whether it be for a class party, field trip, or to help prep materials for teachers. As the girl's basketball season comes to a closing, seeing you at games reminds us that our school spirit is contagious and inspiring. As the holiday season approaches, we know that we have some amazing musical programs to look forward to. It is just as special to us to see parents, grand parents, aunts, uncles and other extended family take time out of their schedules to spend time with us celebrating the talents of our students while celebrating the seasons of the year.

We hope you enjoy the short video inserted below, Memories Made in October.

We wish you a great weekend.

Sincerely,

The Staff at Shadow Hills

Learning

Qualities of a Learner

As a Community, we are focusing on the qualities to be our best selves as an individual, as a student, and as an educator. We refer to these qualities daily as we work through our own Learning Pits and to celebrate our growth.

Some great reads to support Learning more about our own Qualities

The Learning Pit

The Learning Pit illustrates to us where we are when we encounter a challenge and allows us to see the progress made while working with the challenge and experiencing perseverance.
