A Note from Principal Sage
Our next Parent Ambassador meeting will be on February 29th at 5:30 pm in the BMS Media Center. We will provide more information around the agenda in weeks to come.
Most of this will be a repeat from the previous week. However, an important note is that this week is registration week. The BMS 24-25 Registration website (linked here), is active and students are now able to complete the registration process by clicking on the survey linked in step 3. Please note, students will need to log into the survey with their isd192 email address. It may be easiest to complete this process on your child’s school iPad. Teachers will be supporting this process this week at school. Students that do not have this process completed by Thursday, February 8 will be asked to complete it in class on Thursday or Friday at school. Again, the survey is open and students can complete the registration process today.
Note: The information below is a repeat from the previous week:
It is the time of year where we begin to plan for the 24-25 school year. This registration will help BMS administration make decisions on how many courses can be run for the 24-25 school year. Please select electives carefully as students will not be allowed to change classes after registration is completed.
Brief Timeline of the Registration Process
January 29 to February 2 - information sent to families and teachers will go over selections with students. This week is focused on educating students on choices.
February 5 to February 9 - Google survey will be opened to allow students to complete when logging into their isd192 gmail account and make their selections for the 24-25 school year. Teachers will confirm every student completes the registration process.
On your child’s iPad, there is a link called BMS 24-25 Registration (linked here), which will direct them to a website with three steps to complete the registration process. One of the steps is to complete a Google survey. This survey will begin accepting responses on Sunday, February 4 after the parent newsletter comes out and will be open until the end of the day on Friday, February 9, 2024.
Your child will only be able to submit this survey one time and upon completing the survey, it will send them an email to their ISD 192 gmail account. Your child will be provided time to complete this survey during their Transitions class between February 5-9, however, if you prefer to have your child do this from home, you can complete the survey with them and your child can show their teacher the email with their registration. To see descriptions of each offering, please refer to the 24-25 Registration Guide (linked here).
All students will automatically be registered for Tiger Connections, Language Arts, Social Studies, Math, Physical Education, Science, and Transitions classes. 6th and 7th graders will automatically be enrolled into an exploratory wheel class that will expose them to a variety of learning experiences. Future 7th graders will need to select a Fine Arts elective. These choices can be viewed in the registration guide. Future 8th grade students will have more choices to register for specific electives. Future 8th graders will also be asked to select alternate options in the case of staffing changes and the inability to register them for a selection.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.

If a student will be absent, a parent/guardian must call Boeckman Middle School’s attendance line at 651-460-1405 prior to 9:45 AM each day of the absence. We ask that parents/guardians provide the reason for the absence at the time they call. The school determines if the absence falls within the excused or unexcused parameters. If the school does not receive a call from the parent/guardian the day of the absence, the student’s absence is automatically unexcused.
