Central Middle School Lady Bobcats' volleyball team are the FIRST TIME ever Western Division and SMSC Tournament CHAMPIONS. They had a 13-1 overall regular season record. They went on to defeat Mecklenburg and Powhatan in the tournament to capture the top crown.

Central Middle School students enjoyed showing off their science projects in the recent Science Expo and Parent/ Teacher Visitation night. Students were excited to present their research and creativity through their projects. We have future scientists among us for sure!
Mrs. Banfield's 8th grade Career Investigations' students recently enjoyed a presentation from the CMS SRO, Officer Townsend and Charlotte County K-9 Officers. The students were able to hear more about the career opportunities in law enforcement. The officers were able to share their personal experiences as well as the educational requirements needed to achieve such careers.
In celebration of Alpha Delta Kappa Month, the Sisters of Alpha Delta Kappa delivered treats to the staff of CMS as a thank you for their service to students, parents, the community and one another. Thank you Alpha Delta Kappa for supporting our school!
These students earned 25 or more AR points for the first nine weeks!

Central Middle School is off to a great start with fun engaging activities. Each teacher at CMS spent the first few days getting to know their students better with content specific activities designed to encourage group work and student engagement. We at CMS believe every child will learn better in an environment where they feel loved and accepted. Enjoy some of the pictures of the first few days of school.
