PSAT/NMSQT - All Juniors and Parents - IMPORTANT TESTING INFORMATION
Junior Parents/Guardians:
Date Change: PSAT / NMSQT: October 25, 8:45 a.m.
PSAT / NMSQT testing for Juniors will be Wednesday, Oct. 25 starting at 8:45 a.m. in the Competition Gym. The new digital format has caused several issues with local schools and we want to proactively ensure we can complete the test within the testing period.
- Juniors will use their Chromebooks for testing - make sure computers are fully charged for Wednesday morning.
- Encourage students to get a good night’s rest and breakfast.
Report time to the SJHS Competition gym is 8:45 a.m. with a fully charged Chromebook.
Upon completion students will be dismissed to lunch or class.
The PSAT/NMSQT (Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test) can be given to 11th grade students. As part of the SAT Suite of Assessments, it’s designed to help prepare students for the SAT, college, and careers. Students who take the PSAT/NMSQT in 11th grade may meet requirements to enter the National Merit Scholarship Program, an academic competition for recognition and scholarships.
