2024-2025 Jerabek Budget Survey
Parents/Guardians, in preparation for our 2024-2025 budget development, the Jerabek SSC/SGT is requesting your input regarding the needs of our site that will help inform future budgeting conversations and decision-making processes. The site will use information from this needs assessment to develop budgets and strategies for the 2024-2025 school year. All surveys received will be reviewed by the site.
Your time and input are appreciated as we consider our budgeting needs for the 2024-2025 school year. Please complete this form by Friday, January 5 at 5:00 PM.
Leader in Me Family Survey
Jerabek has been a Leader in Me Lighthouse School for over 3 years and we are excited about our accomplishments. This framework is intended to be a journey using lifetime principles of the 8 Habits of Highly Effective People. We would like to have your input in our Annual Leader in Me Survey. Please take our survey by clicking the following link and provide us with valuable information so we can continue to grow and make our campus an even better school and workplace. The family survey link will close January 7th.
Leader in Me: Habit 4
Our next Leader in Me focus is Habit 3: Think Win Win. Our next awards assembly on January 25th will recognize students who think win win!
People who think win-win believe that there is plenty for everybody and that one person’s success in not achieved at the expense of others - win-lose.
Everyone Can Win: I balance courage for getting what I want with consideration for what others want. I make deposits in others’ Emotional Bank Accounts. When conflicts arise, I look for third alternatives.
Ways to practice Think Win-Win:
- Ask an older person what the golden rule is. After you know, try it out on someone.
- Try to go one whole day without sulking, pouting, or feeling sorry for yourself.
- The next time you want to argue or fight with someone about who should get the best toy, ask, “How can I make you happy too?”
- Make a “wish poster”. Start by drawing a line down the middle. On one side, cut and paste magazine pictures of things you want (like an ant farm). On the other side, cut and paste pictures of things your mom or dad want (like a clean room). Together, look at your “wish poster”. See how you can work with each other to make both your wishes and your parents’s wishes come true.
