Career Center Campus
Message From The Principal....🗨️
As we begin to head into the new year, I would like to take a moment and revisit our school vision: "Pride Through Accomplishment: Prepared-Polite-Productive-Professional"
How does this vison impact the Career Center Campus? A vision/mission statement serves as a guidepost or reference point for all actions and decisions. Our vision describes our purpose and values. It is meant to provide inspiration for both students and faculty and serves as a focus of Strategic plans. Your work on increasing student engagement and NCRC completion are examples of your commitment to transforming education into a more student centered experience that is innovative, cross curricular, provides relevancy and purpose for students while equipping them with experiences, skills, and credentials that will last a lifetime. We will continue to provide professional development that will equip staff with the tools and resources necessary to meet our vision for every student in every program.

Our Busy Programs🎨
November came and went, but InSTEPS enjoyed every minute. Throughout the month of October, InSTEPS staff and participants worked together to create craft-goods for the Career Center Craft on November 4th. We were able to raise just over $200.00 for our program and want to give a huge thank you to the participants that showed up to help in running our booth. We were also able to attend two community outings with both of our cohorts. Each cohort went to the Art Center and created fall-inspired watercolor paintings. We are looking forward to all December has to offer!
Companion Animal Care
We have been grooming for the public and it is going really well. Students are learning new skills on how to properly care/groom for dogs. Call us today (970) 254-6000 to schedule your spa day for your most favorite best friend so they can look and feel their best for the holidays. We also are continuing to volunteer at Roice-Hurst and have completed our dog training program at Mesa County Animal Services. The majority of the class have also received their kennel maintenance certification as well.
Culinary students have been working with SWAP and the Mesa County Workforce Center on gaining skills on how to enter the workforce, they have done mock interviews, resumes and overall getting workforce ready. We have an exciting field trip coming up, we will be going to Crave Food Show in Vail.
Don't forget to come and give our Fresh Side Café a try you wont regret it! The last day for the Café will be December 15th and we will re-open in 2024! We will see you soon!
