From the Principal...

We're wrapping up a fabulous February here at Thompson Crossing! A few things to keep in mind as we head into ISTEP:

~Make sure your student gets plenty of rest

~Make sure your student has a good breakfast

~Try to limit use of electronics right before bed to increase chances of a better sleep

~Tell your child that they can do it

~TEST stands for Think, Each, Situation, Through

~Encourage your student to do their best...that's all we ask!

Also, we are encouraging students to wear Colts attire or their favorite blue and white gear on Monday for a special surprise!

Have a wonderful weekend!

ISTEP...

Please see the schedule for testing days and times listed below. We would like to remind you that once a test begins, we will not interrupt out of respect for other students in the classroom. If your child comes in late, and testing has already begun, your student will stay in the office to avoid interruption. Any student who misses their scheduled test time or is late will take their test during a planned make-up time.

A Message from Girl Scout Leader for Troop 1024...

Hello,

My name is Kelly Sellers and I am the Girl Scout Leader for Troop 1024. March 12 begins our 105th Birthday celebration and we will be having Girl Scout Spirit week, which follows dress code, to help promote our Girl Scout Pride and hopefully get more girls interested in joining. We were hoping that you could include some information in the March news letter to help raise awareness.

It could be something as simple as the following: March 12 begins Girl Scout Birthday week! Please be sure to keep an eye out for our Girl Scouts this week and ask them about their Girl Scout experiences. If your daughter is interested in joining Girl Scouts or if you would like more information please visit our website: www.girlscoutsindiana.org

Girl Scout Spirit week is as follows:

Monday – Uniform day

Tuesday – Disney Day

Wednesday – Crazy Sock Day
