SOCIAL STUDIES
- Begin Famous Texans research project: Selection sheets due Thursday, April 14
LANGUAGE ARTS
- Required: Complete at least 2 20-minute sessions (40 minutes total) in IStation
Note: IStation directions are in students' take home binders behind the Homework tab. - Required: Read 100 minutes
MATH (PLEASE READ - CHANGING THIS WEEK)
- Required: Pass at least 3 lessons in Think Through Math (It does count as passing a full lesson if you skip out of it through the pre-test!). This should bring your total number of lessons passed in all time in TTM to at least 5.
Note: We logged in for the first time in class, and all students have their log-in information taped inside their take home binders. See the picture below for a screenshot explaining in detail how to complete this assignment. - Optional: Continue practicing in Xtra Math (strongly recommended for students who have not mastered all basic multiplication facts) and SumDog
Note: Please let us know if your child does not have access to an internet-connected device at home to complete online assignments so that we can come up with an alternate plan for your child.
Cafeteria Check Policy
Due to Leander ISD policy, the cafeteria will no longer be able to accept checks without a driver’s license number and phone number clearly written on the check. To avoid any delay in funding your child’s lunch account, please ensure that your driver’s license number and phone number are included with the check.
Report Cards
Report cards for the 3rd nine weeks were sent home last week in Wednesday folders for those who requested paper copies rather than electronic. Please keep the report card and return the signed envelope to your homeroom teacher. Thank you!
Keep tabs on those shirts!
We'll be wearing our blue & yellow tie dye shirts this Friday, April 15th for our field trip to the Twin Lakes YMCA! We'll also use them for other events later this nine weeks.
Playground Design Project - Donations Needed!
In May, we will be applying math concepts we have been learning about all year long to design and build scale models of playgrounds! If you are able to donate any of these materials, please send them with your child to school any time in April. Thank you in advance for your help!
