Clothes
Clothes are very important you will need them in different types of weather.If it is snowing you would wear a heavy coat,scarf,mittens.If it is warm you would wear something loose and that will keep you in the shade

If you don't know how to work a compass then a map is your other option it will help you know where you need to go.
Weapon
It is important to have a weapon when you are surviving in the wild.You need it to kill animal and sometimes skin a animal.
To make a weapon you will need wood and a rock scrape, the rock against the wood until it gets sharper and carved into the shape you want it to be.

If you want to escape you will need a signal to get overcoming helicopter's to notice you.

Compass
You will need a compass if you get lost lost you will also will need to be able to read it. To read it you will need to Place your compass in your palm and have it at your waist. You will need a shelter so you can sleep instead of being exposed on the cold bare ground.
