Who is Jack the Ripper?

Jack the Ripper is know for gruesome murders from August 7th to September 10th in 1888. Despite countless investigations, his name and motive was never identified. To this day, he remains one of England's and the worlds most known criminal. He was responsible for the murder of 5 women, who all were killed within a mile of each other. The name "Jack the Ripper" originates from a letter written by someone who claimed to be the killer, published during the time of the attacks.

Scott A. Bonn Ph. D, states that Jack the Ripper was in fact poor and insane with homicidal tendencies who was admitted to an Asylum in December, 1888. They gave him the name David Cohen because his real name was never determined or recorded. Forensic evidence supports this conclusion.

After examination of the bodies, Dr. Thomas Bond and investigators concluded that Jack the Ripper was a physician or a medical doctor because he removed organs from some of the victims. Dr. Bond also stated that Jack the Ripper may have had Satyriasis or uncontrollable sexual desires.

An article from www.history.com states that Jack the Rippers name and motive is still unknown. His crimes seemed to portray hatred of the female gender. This on going case has been investigated by many people with a lack of evidence, misinformation and false testimony. There isnt enough evidence to efficently find out who Jack the Ripper was.

The media often knows Jack the Ripper as a murderer who killed 5 women. No one actually knows who did the murders. Investigators have came to the conclusion the Jack the Ripper must have been a medical doctor because of his knowledge of anatomy and his precise cuts on these 5 women. He'd also take a certain organ from every woman he murdered. Which also led investigators to the conclusion of him being a medical doctor.

In the media, there is some articles about who Jack the Ripper was but the articles are the opinions of other people and aren't based on fact.

The stories on Jack the Ripper usually focus on a Historical perspective. Everything about Jack the Ripper that we know of is from History. He was a murder in the late 1800's who people know very little about. The things we continuously read about him are from newspapers and letters from that time period. The evidence no longer exists of us to find out the identity of the killer.
The stories of Jack the Ripper are also from a Feminist perspective. Back in the late 1800's, it wasn't a big deal for women to disappear. Jack the Ripper only targeted women in their 30's to 40's. Investigators argued that his crimes portrayed hatred of the female gender. The crimes were so horrendous that people started to protect females from going outside at night.
