What's Going on in Room 12?
This week, our first graders became researchers! Each student looked up their favorite kinds of severe weather using the kid-friendly search engine, Pebble Go. They then sited their source and took notes on information that struck them as important or exciting. The students were very engaged and motivated to research more! We will continue our research next week on safe structures. We will also begin our unit on communities. Please look over the community helper paper that went home and let me know if you are interested in presenting about your career to our grade level.
