Mean
How to find the mean?
First, you add all the numbers.
Next, you have to divide the numbers by how many numbers are in total.
Example: 4+3+2+9+8+7 =32 32 /6 = 5.33 (Hint / = division)
First, you add all the numbers.
Next, you have to divide the numbers by how many numbers are in total.
Example: 4+3+2+9+8+7 =32 32 /6 = 5.33 (Hint / = division)
Median
How do I find the median?
First , put the number from least to greatest
Then find the number in the middle
Example: 3,9,7,2,0,5 0,2,3,5,7 the median is 3
First , put the number from least to greatest
Then find the number in the middle
Example: 3,9,7,2,0,5 0,2,3,5,7 the median is 3
Mode
First put the numbers from least to greatest
Then you find the number that repeats more often and that's the mode (there could be more than 1 mode or no mode)
3,2,4,3,5,8 2,3,3,4,5,8 the mode is 3 because it is repeated more often
Then you find the number that repeats more often and that's the mode (there could be more than 1 mode or no mode)
3,2,4,3,5,8 2,3,3,4,5,8 the mode is 3 because it is repeated more often
Range
First order the number from least to greatest
Next subtract the greatest number from the least number
Example: 2,9,10,5,6 2,5,6,9,10 10 - 2=8
Next subtract the greatest number from the least number
Example: 2,9,10,5,6 2,5,6,9,10 10 - 2=8
