Causes
It is caused by an infection with a virus of the family Filoviridae, also the virus can spread very easily!
Immune Cells
Patients recover faster usually if they have more T cells. Also if they had a variation in there genes for surface proteins that Leukocytes use to communicate.
LYTIC CYCLE
Ebola uses the Lytic cycle to spread it self. The four steps in this cycle starts with penetration.
PENETRATION
Virus enters the cell and injects itself into the plasma membrane.
SYNTHESIS
Biosynthesis of nucleic acids needed for assembly of new viruses.
ASSEMBLY
Assembly of Nucleocapsid happens during this stage.
RELEASE
Mature viruses are released from the cell. Instead of lysing out, the viruses bubble out to gain an envelope. The bigger burst size, the even more viruses.
TREATMENT
Maintain your blood pressure and oxygen. Take medications if you need to control your fever. Also stop any secondary infections.
PREVENTION
Avoid major cities or countries with being known for people having Ebola. Practice good hygiene with body parts contacted with other people.
