Big ideas

1. Power should be given to somebody who earned it and wasn’t born into royalty. If one fights for leadership it is much more honorable because it demonstrates authentic dictatorship rather than being born into power.

2. Believed that a leader should be cunning. He believed that they should be smart for the sake of the people and there was no shame if the leader did not live up to his promises.

"It is better to be feared than loved, if you cannot be both."

When you are feared people respect you as you are and they are scared of you on the other hand when you are loved people tend to take advantage of you as you can be easily manipulated and walked all over.
