Point of Concurrency
A point of concurrency is where three or more lines intersect to a point. The three angle bisectors, medians, perpendicular bisectors, and altitudes are congruent in every triangle
Centroid
- The point of concurrency of the medians
- Inside the Triange
Circumcenter
- The point of concurrency of the perpendicular bisectors
- Equidistant from the three verticals
- Can be inside, outside or on the triangle
Incenter
- The point of concurrency of angle bisector
- Equidistant from three sides of the triange
- Inside the triangle
Orthocenter
- The point of concurrency of the altitudes
- Can be inside, outside or on the triange
