Holiday Hoedown Musical Production

Congratulations to the fourth and fifth grade chorus and their director, Mrs. Hower. During the month of December, they entertained us at Holiday Hotcakes, the Gladiators game, and put on an amazing musical production, at school and then in the Dacula High School Theatre. The children shone with their lively rendition of Santa and his elves performing in Branson. We are so proud of you!

A special thank you to Mrs. Currie, Sarah Currie and Mrs. Holley, as well as several of our teachers, for their behind the scenes contributions to the success of the chorus.

Holiday Thanks

We thank our room parents, Mrs. Askue, and the PTA Board for making the holidays exciting for our children and for us. Your time and dedication are greatly appreciated!

Georgia Parent Survey

The Georgia Department of Education Department is conducting a parent survey. This survey is available via the link below, and we encourage you to take a few minutes to provide your feedback about the climate of Mulberry Elementary. Your responses are valuable to us as they will impact Mulberry’s Georgia School Climate Star Rating.

The survey link will remain open through February. Thank you for supporting our school!

Attention Student Council

Leadership training for student council members will take place at Mulberry on Saturday, January 10 from 9am to 1pm.

Camera Parents

We still need your photos! If you've taken photos and haven't submitted them, please upload them at
during the holiday break. Make sure you've submitted a whole class photo with the teacher, along with about 30 candids
from lunch, field trips, recess, etc. Our goal is to make sure EVERY student is in the yearbook at least 3 times.

If you've sent in photos all year, THANK YOU! Be sure to look for some of your work when the yearbook comes out in May!

5th Grade Promotion Ceremony

5th grade parents, it’s hard to believe that half of the school year is gone. The Promotion Ceremony will be here before we know it. An integral part of the ceremony is the Slide Show. The slide show will be played during the Reception and is always a big hit. The children love seeing their pictures on the big screen.

We are asking that you submit 3 photos (baby, preschool age, and current) that you feel depicts your 5th grader’s personality. Please submit photos by December 20, 2014.

You can submit the photos two different ways:

1) Email: Please include your child’s name & Teacher in the email.

2) Send photos in an envelope clearly marked “Slide Show pictures” for your child to turn in. Please label all photos that you want returned, with your child’s name, Teacher, and a contact phone# or email.

Please also submit any photos of your child, throughout the years, at Mulberry events (clubs, Bingo Night, Movie Night, Field Day, lunch with friends, etc.). We would love to include these photos in the Slide Show as well. What an amazing opportunity to reminisce and reflect on how our “babies” have blossomed into the young people that they are today.
