About Our Board Members
Cassidy Sheahan: I've been a special education aide here at Morrish for a year now. I've been a Creek Dragon almost all my life and Graduated from SCHS in 2016!
Stephanie Sortor: I am a kindergarten teacher here at Morrish. This is my first year teaching at Morrish! I have been married ten years and have four beautiful children. Next year my twin girls will be in second grade and my five year old will be coming to kindergarten all here at Morrish. I also have a four month old son. I am excited to be apart of our PTO and look forward to the next year!
Sarah Mellish: I am a kindergarten teacher here at Morrish. I have a daughter in the middle school and a daughter in the high school who are both former Morrish students. I have a passion for serving others and I am looking forward to making a difference by helping students, parents, and staff of Morrish Elementary.
Tanya Okenka: I am a mother of two with my oldest about to be in first grade and youngest will be attending in a few more years . My husband and I are both life long Swartz Creek residents and I am a former Morrish student myself. I am also a working mother but am excited to be apart of the Morrish family and to provide all the help I can to create fun and memorable events to the students during the school year. I am also looking forward to meeting other parents that wish to contribute their time to help build a inspiring and welcoming atmosphere for students and other visitors.
Carrie Erbe: I am looking forward to serving as PTO Treasurer. My husband and I reside in Swartz Creek. Our daughter, Riley, is in Mrs. Pyle’s first grade class. I work full time for a fire department and have currently served as our Union’s Secretary for the past few years. For most of this school year I have been able to volunteer a few days a week in kindergarten, assisting the teacher. I have also been able to help out with other PTO events. This has allowed me to get to know the Morrish staff and students. Participating in the PTO will be a great continuation of my efforts to support the school not only for my daughter but all the students at Morrish. I look forward to serve as Treasurer for upcoming school year.
Ami Church: My husband, Clay, and I are both very active volunteering our time here at school and also within the Swartz Creek community. Our son Narls is in 5th grade and our daughter Emerson is in 3rd grade. Previously I served as PTO Fundraising coordinator and look forward to again working with parents, teachers, and staff to help keep Morrish a great place.
