11:00 AM Arrive in Texarkana: nature break, dress, unload, etc.
11:45 AM Line up/depart for warmup area
12:45 PM Perform
1:15 PM To trailer to load, change clothes
2:00 PM In stands to watch bands/Eat
5:15 PM Awards ceremony
5:45 PM Load buses/Depart Texarkana
7:15 PM ETA Mt. Vernon

Parents may call 903-537-4666 for an updated time of arrival after 6:15 PM.
Dress: - Full marching uniform, band tshirts, black socks. No jewelry from the time we depart the buses for warmup until we get back to the bus. No nail polish. Dress for stands is blue jeans/khaki shorts and band shirts. No pajama pants or other shorts allowed.
Flags: Wear full marching uniform.
Bring a sack lunch with you to eat on the way!! We will be traveling/getting ready during lunch time and you will not have an opportunity to eat until about 2:00.
Other news for contest: Photos will be taken at the contest. They will be selling the photos at the contest or they may be ordered COD.
Parents are invited to attend the contest. There is a $2.00 admission charge for adults and $1.00 for students. Directions to stadium: Take I-30 East to Texarkana. Exit Summerhill Rd. and go right on Summerhill Rd. Travel 2.5 miles down Summerhill. Stadium will be on your right at Summerhill Rd. and W. 12th St.
Please note that courteous behavior is shown by no talking or moving in the stands while a band is performing. Everyone has worked as hard as we have and deserves your undivided attention. Behavior at a marching contest is much different than a football game. Please act accordingly.
