Porter, Marcelle & Dallas Advance To Golf State Championships

Congratulations to Blake Porter, Dylan Marcelle, & Nathan Dallas for advancing to the Golf State Championships! Boys Tennis Wins 2nd Straight District Championship

Congratulations to the boys tennis program for winning their second straight District Championship. The boys program had already finished the regular season a perfect 14-0 with a conference championship prior to taking to the court Friday for the District Championship match with FZW. The Vikings will now take on CBC on Saturday in the State Sectionals. Congratulations to the tennis program and good luck on Saturday!

Boys Volleyball Advances To State Quarterfinals

The Boys Volleyball program moved to 22-12-2 under first-year head coach Tom Gotsch and advanced to the State Quarterfinals on Saturday afternoon. The "Spiking Vikings" had wins over Seckman, Kirkwood, and Parkway South. The lone loss of the day came to the #1 ranked SLUH program. You can support our Vikings on Monday at 5:00 p.m. at Howell as they take on Lafayette in the State Quarterfinals. Good luck to our Vikings as they look to earn a Final 4 birth!

Boys Volleyball Winning In The Classroom

The boys volleyball program has not only had a great year on the court but also in the classroom as well. Congratulations to our four boys volleyball players that were recognized at the state level for their efforts in the classroom.

Pulcine & Jenkins Win Individual District Championships

Congrats to Matt Pulcine and Joel Jenkins for earning District Championships in the Boys Tennis Individual District Tournament. Both will advance to the MSHSAA Individual State Sectionals. Good luck to Matt and Joel!

Track Advances 12 Events To State Sectionals

It was a great day of individual performances for the Howell Track program. Overall there were 12 events that the Vikings advanced to the State Sectionals in. Girls Soccer Wraps Up Regular Season With 5-1 Win Over Timberland On Senior Night

The girls soccer program finished the regular season on Friday with a 5-1 win over Timberland on Senior Night. The Lady Vikings finished up the regular season 9-9-2 and will face off with FZW on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at FHC. Good luck to our Lady Vikings as they work to make a post season run!

TSA Club Competes & Medals In Boeing Engineering Challenge

Francis Howell brought home several medals from the 8th Annual Boeing Engineering Challenge held at Washington University on Friday night, May 6. The competition is to build hand thrown gliders and compete for the straightest, farthest flights, and other categories. There were over 40 teams in competition from schools all over the St. Louis Metro area.


All three teams won medals. Awards for most creative appearance were Team Air Wyvern – Alex Jones, Sierra Rivas, and Dustin Burt for their blue dragon design; and Team Dragonfly – Ally Stevenson, Graeme Jacobson, and Nick Stevenson for their dragonfly glider. Awards of most creative engineering went to Team Legal Eagle – Hamming Lin, Lynell Cunningham, and Matt Bahan for their ping pong ball drop mechanism; and Team Air Wyvern – for their dragon design.

The Class 5 District 8 All-District Team has been announced and several Vikings are on the list. Congratulations to the following baseball players for earning All-District honors:

Freshman Soccer Finishes 3rd In FHC Tournament

Congratulations to the freshman girls soccer program for their 3rd place finish in the FHC Tournament! The program continued to make great strides as the season went on and finished the season with two good tournament performances.
