Use real world terms to describe numbers (Integers)

VOCABULARY

INTEGERS are all whole number and their opposites.

ZERO is where both POSITIVE and NEGATIVE numbers start.

POSITIVE Integers are greater than 0. (you do not have to write a +).

NEGATIVE Integers are less than 0. (they must have a - sign).

Let's write an integer for each situation!

INTEGER SORT

TAKE A SCREEN SHOT OF THIS ON YOUR APP TO TURN IN TO EDMODO!!!

NOW YOU CAN EVEN DO THIS...

Remember, the ABSOLUTE VALUE of something is just the distance from zero on a number line. Therefore, all absolute values are going to end up being POSITIVE.
