Student Services Support Network
The Penn-Delco School District proudly announces a networking group dedicated to informing parents, guardians and community members about the services and support systems within the delaware county area designed to assist children and families in the areas of education and behavioral health. PDSD will partner with community resources as well as District staff to present relevant information to families. An emphasis this year will be on Gifted Education, Special Education, and Mental Health. Please Contact the Office of Special Education and Pupil Services for additional information.
Supporting Your Gifted and Accelerated Learners

This session of the PDSD Student Support Network will provide an overview of the Chapter 16 Gifted Guidelines, PA State-wide initiatives for Gifted Education, and information regarding PDSD's Gifted Programming in Elementary, Middle and High School.
Interventions for Struggling Readers
Thursday, Nov. 6th, 6:30-8pm
Does you child struggle with reading? Come hear about the intensive intervention programs PDSD uses to support your child and learn how you can help him or her at home. Parents/guardians of students K-12 are welcome to attend.
What is Extended School Year?

If your child has attended Extended School Year in the past or you are curious as to what it is and how the District determines who qualifies for extended school year, please come to listen to this informative discussion.
Transition to Post Secondary Services

If you have a child with disabilities who is age 14 or older, this workshop will be valuable to you and your child. The team will discuss various resources that are available within Delaware County to assist you as your child begins to transition out of high school and into post secondary services.

Mental Health Forum

May is Mental Health Awareness Month! Come learn about the resources available in the Delaware County area to assist students and families who are impacted by mental health disorders. Accessing community resources is essential in successfully dealing with mental health needs.
