Dear Dieck Parents:
Re: Summer Birthday Announcements
Instead of having so many birthdays to announce on the last day of school, starting on May 1st we will begin to announce our summer birthday students too. So for example, on May 1st any student with a birthday on May 1st, July 1st, or August 1st will be announced during our morning announcements.
On May 2, May 2, July 2, and August 2 birthdays will be announced and so on. I will do this throughout the month of May.
June birthday’s will be announced in June.
Hopefully this will make our summer birthday students feel special about their birthday too
If you would like to send in a birthday treat in for your student on the coinciding day in May that would be fine, but not mandatory. All teachers ask is that you drop off the treats in the office anytime throughout the day. Your student will come down when the class is ready, normally at the end of the day to get their treat to be shared with their class. We do not have birthday “parties”, just a simple sharing of a small treat is sufficient.
Please do not send medication in with your student. You have to bring it in and fill out the appropriate forms.
