Faculty Room Reminders: Please check the microwave after you use it. Recently there has been soup and other food items that have "exploded" in the microwave and was left for others to clean. Please be mindful of any mess you make...and clean it up. Thank you!
Please remember the Nurse's Office is closed from 1:50-2:50. Please send any students that need a nurse visit to the Main Office during this time.
TECH TIP OF THE WEEK
Words of Wisdom
The ache for home lives in all of us, the safe place where we can go as we are and not be questioned.
~ Maya Angelou
Feeling safe comes on many levels. We can help keep ourselves physically safe with such simple measures as wearing a seatbelt or installing a smoke alarm. But keeping our minds and emotions safe can be more complicated. Each of us needs a place where we can be nurtured and feel emotionally safe; where we can be ourselves without fear of ridicule. This is especially true of children. One of the beauties of being in education is that we can create that safe haven in the classroom, so each one can bloom where they have been planted.
With something to think about . . .
Remember to take care of yourself.
Where are your safe places? Surround yourself with a network of safe places and people to land on when you need the support.
Happy Birthday!
