Pioneer Days is an annual celebration held in the Morongo Basin, that lasts all weekend.
There will be lots of things to do for adults and children of all ages.
One of the highlights of Pioneer Days is the parade.
Palm Vista will have a float in the parade so make sure you stop by and support our Panthers!!

Red Ribbon Week is a school-wide event that highlights Palm Vista's commitment to be drug free and to show our Panther Spirit!!
Each day during the week will have a different theme related to our pledge against drugs:
- Monday: Proud To Be Drug Free!! - Wear red to start off Red Ribbon Week right!!
- Tuesday: Peace Out To Drugs! - Wear peace signs and/or tie-dye clothing.
- Wednesday: Team Up Against Drugs! - Wear your favorite sports shirt or team jersey!
- Thursday: From Head To Toe, I'm Drug Free! - Wear crazy hair and silly socks.
- Friday: Our School Chooses To Be Drug Free! - Wear your school shirt or school colors.
- Monday: Put Drugs To Sleep - Wear your favorite pajamas to school.
- Tuesday: My Character Is Too Good For Drugs! - Come to school dressed as your favorite book character.

Trunk or Treat

A short explanation for those who may not have heard of Trunk or Treat.
Trunk or Treat is an alternative form of Trick or Treating.
The children go from car to car in a parking lot asking for candy.
Many people feel that it is a safer alternative to Trick or Treating since it takes place in a well lit environment and children do not need to walk far.
