Expressions and Equations

What are we learning in Math?

This quarter we are focusing on Expressions and Equations. Your child will be learning how to solve problems such as this following:

1. Write the following expression using an exponent: 2x2x2x2

2. Write the following as an expression: 5 less than the product of 3 and a number

3. Joshua bought a bag of 43 sweet candies. He ate x of the candies. Write the expression that shows how many sweet candies Joshua has now.
