From the District Administrator's Office

An important date in our school district is coming on Wednesday, October 19. That is the date of our school district Annual Meeting. The Annual Meeting is when we approve our budget for the year and get an update on our district. The meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Middle / High School IMC. Our regular monthly School Board meeting will follow at 7 p.m. I look forward to seeing you there.

From the Elementary Principal's Office

It has been an exciting homecoming week with the students and staff showing school spirit by participating in the dress up days to support the teams this week. We are looking forward to cheering on the high school students at the parade and game on Friday.

We also had a great kick off for our first monthly reading night at school on Monday night. The children and parents where able to do a few fall activities that were set up up the second grade teachers. Hope that you can join us in October for the next reading night on the 17th.

If anybody has extra apples that you would like to donate for a cooking project for the elementary students please contact me at school by phone or email (532-3183 or

From the Middle/High School Principal's Office

There certainly is no place like Homecoming! If you have been following the yellow brick road throughout this week you would know that Homecoming was kicked off by students last Saturday night with a powderpuff game and bonfire. I had the best time watching students participate in the game and later tailgating with students next to quite an impressive bonfire. Halls and parade floats are decorated, games and activities are organized, football players are geared up for tonight’s football game against the Unity Eagles, and the king and queen coronation with take place at 10:30 tomorrow evening at our High School Homecoming dance. I don’t know about you, but I can certainly feel a storm brewing in the air! Hope to see you at the game and the dance tomorrow evening!

From the Athletic Director's Office

There's No Place Like Homecoming! I'm very proud to be a Falcon, and can see that we have a lot of Falcon Pride with our Homecoming activities. The cheerleaders have worked very hard to come up with a fun theme, activities, and each class has done a wonderful job at decorating the hallways and floats.

The game tonight should be a good one with Unity and I'm looking forward to seeing how our Flambeau Falcons perform. I wish the team and coaches the best of luck! Don't forget to stop by the Falcon Nest school store tonight from 6 p.m. through half-time to show your school spirit with some Falcon attire. See you tonight!

Congratulations Flambeau Homecoming King & Queen!
