STRATEGIC PLAN UPDATE
Action Plan Teams, Whole Group "State of the District" Meeting
Approximately 75 people are participating on the five Goal Action Teams. These include parents, employees, Board members, and community members.
The whole group met once via Zoom to review a “state of the district”. Similar to the data shared with the original Strategic Plan Team, presentations were given by the four Assistant Superintendents. The presentations covered the current data available for Personnel and Planning, Business-Finance-Operations, Student Services, and Student Learning.
Participants met in person on September 13 in their separate Goal Action Teams. At this meeting, each group reviewed the Strategic Plan and discussed their interests in participating as well as agreed to some group norms. The groups began to brainstorm their objectives for their specific goals. This list will be continued and prioritized at the meeting in October.
At the next couple of meetings, each group will work to finalize their lists of objectives as well as determine how they will measure success for each item.
