Week At A Glance
Students will:
- learn about the characteristics of fairytales and folktales.
Students are successful when they can:
- identify the characters in fairytales and fantasies.

Writing Learning Targets
Students will:
- use their imaginations to invent characters and adventures.
Students are successful when they can:
- create a magical world.
- describe a magical word.
- create a character.
- create a great hook.
Math Learning Targets
Students will:
- Compare the lengths of two objects using a third object.
- Use like objects to measure length.
Success Criteria:
- Identify the longest object.
- Identify the shortest object.
- Order objects from longest to shortest or from shortest to longest.
- Start measuring at the beginning of the object and stop at the end.
- Measure the length with no gaps or overlays.
- Tell how many units long the object is.
By Friday.....Homework Due
Students will email a picture of their homework to their teacher by Friday.

Writing
- Create your own realistic fiction character. Tell us about your character. What do they like to do? What type of character are they? (brave, funny, kind) Write at least 4 sentences about your character.
