Parent and Student Information
Good Morning River Hawks!
This Friday marks the end of the 4th Quarter progress reporting period. We are proud that our students have successfully navigated a challenging and unusual school year!
Consider attending our RN PTSA Juice it Up! fundraiser tomorrow! Our PTSA has purchased all of our ribbons for Academic Awards this year and we appreciate the many ways they support our students and staff!
Our school counselor, Lisa Steinman, has decided to move to Texas, so we have a new counselor alpha breakdown for our students. Gina Burns (A-K) and Christine Racina (L-Z) are happy to assist you with student support.
We have a new School Resource Officer. Deputy Gonzalez spends most of her time at Valencia High School, but she visits Rio Norte about once a week. Please don't be alarmed if you see her car out front. We are grateful for the support she provides our schools.
Most of our 8th-grade students have completed an online one-on-one registration appointment with their high school counselor to select their classes for next year. Our current 7th-grade students have not yet started an elective preference survey for next year. It will be available in May.
We appreciate our Rio Norte families and we are grateful for your continued support!
Thank you,
Audrey Asplund
Principal
