A Pathway Forward
October 8th Columbus Virtual Pathway Newsletter
Reflections from the Office
Some of you are probably looking at your performance during the first 9-weeks and have reason to celebrate! Take some time over Fall Break to relax and unwind! Success in a virtual school takes real commitment! You have to wake up every day with the attitude that you are going to log in and learn something new! If you feel successful right now, congratulations, you must have worked really hard! If, on the other hand, you are a little worried about what happened this quarter, acknowledge that feeling and do something about it!
Vince Lombardi is known for saying "the only place where success comes before work is in the dictionary." In order to be successful in this program, you need to commit to doing the work. There is no way to hide it! Quarter 2 is a chance for some of you to make a new commitment, one where you log in EVERY SINGLE DAY and do work! If you do this, you will find your path to success much smoother!
I'm looking forward to what a new quarter brings and cannot wait to celebrate with all of you at the end, when we see how our hard work paid off!
Have a wonderful Fall Break!
Josh
