The Power of Words: One Word Challenge
As we enter the new year with hope, we pause to reflect on what the year will hold for us, how we want to embrace this gift of time, and who do we want to be in 2021. I am certain each of us are hoping for relief from the pandemic crisis and health for all.
To truly be the masterpiece God has created in each one of us, new beginnings offer us an opportunity to renew our hearts and spirits for growth. Sometimes to determine who we are called to be challenges us to be still and listen.
Our grade four classes have taken on the one word challenge for 2021, reflecting on how and who they want to be this year. Their words are powerful and show the depth of how kids can reflect if you open the door.
Whatever our word may be, we know that it is through our one God that ALL is possible and we can continue to find JOY in our daily lives and connections with one another.
“I beg you to lead a life worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, making every effort to maintain the unity of the Spirit and the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to the one hope of your calling, one Lord, one faith, who is above all and through all and in all”. -Ephesians 4:1-6
Blessings,
Mrs. Bonnie-Lynne Boehm, Principal
