Name of our biomolecule
The name of our biomolecule are lipids
Name of our Monomers
The monomers of lipids are fatty acids and glycerol.
Name of the Polymer
The name of the polymer is triglycerides.
Examples of lipids
Some examples are fats, candle wax, butter, and other fatty substances.
Functional groups of lipids
The main one in lipids is the ester (COOC) group.
Common uses of lipids
Lipids are used to store and collect energy, for you to use later.
How does the lipids structure allow it to do its job?
Lipids structures allow for lots of strong bonds to be formed, therefore creating energy.
