afternoon carline

Afternoon carline is becoming more efficient. There are just two requests that we have to help maximize the efficiency:

  • Please have your car tag displayed on your rearview mirror the entire time that you are in the parking lot. Car tags are used by school staff at several points in the dismissal process.
  • If your child does not get in your car before it is time to move, and you are asked to pull over, please consider PARALLEL PARKING rather than pulling into a regular parking spot. Pulling aside along the playground fence prevents cars from having to back into the flow of traffic.

We continue to move through this pandemic together. Thank you for keeping lines of communication open in regards to exposure and illnesses in your household. It is our protocol to remain transparent whenever someone in our school community tests positive for COVID. Based on the exposure, there are times when we have positive cases on campus but don't have reason to quarantine any students or staff. As you receive our COVID notices from the school, keep in mind that it doesn't necessarily mean that anyone on campus has been identified as exposed or needs to quarantine.

As always, if you have any questions about COVID, please don't hesitate to reach out to Mrs. Haas.

When a student is absent from school, there must be contact between the family and the school office. There are two ways that families can report an absence to the school office:

  • Families are asked to email the school at attendance@stjosephwhschool.org when a child is absent.
  • Families can call the school office at 293-3311 and leave a message on the special voicemail dedicated to absences. Follow the prompts after calling the school office.

If we don't hear from you by 9am, you can expect to receive a phone call from the school office. *Please note that if the office is aware that your child has been quarantined due to COVID, you do not need to contact the office.

face masks

SJCS face masks have arrived and are available in the school office for $10 each. We have adult and child sized face masks. Families are welcome to send in payment with a note indicating which size you prefer or stop by the school office to make a purchase. Supply is limited. Get your SJCS face mask today.

St. Joseph Prayer

O Blessed Joseph, faithful guardian of my Redeemer, Jesus Christ, protector of Mary, the virgin Mother of God, I choose you this day to be my special patron and advocate and I firmly resolve to honor you all the days of my life. Therefore, I humbly ask you to receive me as your client, to instruct me in every doubt, to comfort me in every affliction, to obtain for me and for all the knowledge and love of the Heart of Jesus, and finally to defend and protect me at the hour of my death. Amen.
