What is a glacier?

A glacier is a big piece of land and snow that moves inch by inch. A glacier is made out of snow that builds up over time that grows and grows and then a glacier is built.

Natural Resources

A natural resource that glaciers give us is power. This comes from the glaciers melting which makes energy for the hydroelectric power generation.

Spiders and flies live around and on glaciers, and the ice worms lives there as well. Polar bears, penguins, and seals live on and around glaciers too.
