Attendance for Wednesdays
ALL students in grades K-4 will do e-Learning at home on Wednesdays.
- Assignments will be posted by Tuesday evening at 6:00 PM.
- All students need to do the attendance check-in during the times of 9 AM and 9 PM on Wednesdays in order to be counted present.
- Wednesday's assignments will be due by Monday morning at 9:00 AM.
Important Arrival Reminders
- Do not drop off students before 8:25 am. There is no supervision for them prior to that time.
- If you use the car line in the morning, please pull all the way forward to Door #7 by the construction site. This will allow more cars to pull up and help the line move as quickly as possible.
- We also ask that you do NOT pass other vehicles ahead of you in the car line. This is a big safety concern as we have some students exiting on the driver side. Please be patient and wait for the cars ahead of you to pull away.
Box Tops
Our PTO participates in the Box Tops for Education program. All you need is your phone! Download the Box Tops app, shop as you normally would, then use the app to scan your store receipt within 14 days of purchase. The app will identify Box Tops product on your receipt and automatically credit our school's earning online. If you discover a traditional unexpired Box Tops clip on a product, you can still clip it and send it to school. Every valid Box Tops clip is still worth 10cents for our school.
Community Rewards
If you shop at Kroger with a rewards card, you can set your Community Rewards to link to our organization. Simply logon to your account at Kroger.com, click on the Menu drop down to Savings. Click to open the saving menu. Click at the bottom of that menu for Kroger Community Rewards. Search for Brooklyn Elementary PTO or enter our #XC435.
Amazon Smile
Support our school while shopping at smile.amazon.com. Search for our official name "Brooklyn School Parent Teacher Organization Incorporated". Shop at smile.amazon.com for the same product, same prices, same services, as the Amazon you know. Amazon will donate .5% of the price of your eligible purchases to our PTO.
School Wide Title 1
Funding has been made available through School Wide Title 1 Services to Brooklyn STEM Academy for the purpose of providing students with extra support in reading/language arts and math. This extra support is available for all students at Brooklyn STEM Academy. Classroom teachers, Title 1 Teachers and instructional aides provide assistance through small group and individualized instruction as children demonstrate a need for support. Please contact your teacher about services your child may receive.
