End of Grade Letters needed for all 3rd-5th grade students

Update....keep sending in your letters. We have received many already, but we need still need many. Continue to send them in prior to the 19th.

If you are the parent of a child who will be taking the EOG's, manila envelopes were sent home last week. They contained white envelopes. We would like for your child to have a productive and supportive EOG session. So, we are asking that you, or anyone that you would like, write a letter of encouragement to your child for each day of testing. Please write your child’s name on the outside of each envelope and return them to your child’s teacher by May 19th. Your child’s teacher will then save the notes and place the appropriate one on his/her desk. Our goal is to keep the notes a surprise so that your child has an extra boost of support each day. Thank you for your help.

End of Grade Dates details

EOG's are right around the corner...we wanted to share the dates so you can put them on your calendar.

5/31 - Math EOG (3rd, 4th and 5th grade)

6/1 - ELA EOG (3rd, 4th and 5th grade)

6/5 - RtA test (for select 3rd graders...they will be made aware of ahead of time)

6/6 - Science EOG for 5th grade

6/8 - ELA EOG Retest (for select 3rd graders...they will be made aware of ahead of time)

If your Patriot is going to be absent (a planned absence) for an EOG day, please let the teacher or Mrs. Helt know in advance so plans can be made for make up testing. Much appreciation in advance.

See below for help needed for proctoring.

EOG proctors needed...

Update....we are in need of 8 more for 5/31 only. We are set for the other days. Thank you so much.

The EOG's are right around the corner and Mrs. Helt needs plenty of volunteers to help with proctoring for the test sessions. The dates that she needs help with are May 31st, June 1st and June 6th. You will be needed from about 8:00-12:30. ( can come in when you bring your Patriots) There is a short training that needs to happen prior but Mrs. Helt can give you more details.

If you are available (even if it's for only one day), please fill out the form below and she will be in touch. (Use the scroll bar on the right side to navigate the form.) She sends her thanks in advance.

Parent Survey.....we would love your feedback!

You may still fill this out if you have not done so already! The survey is still open for responses!

Once they are gone, they are gone for good.

Spots fill up fast so keep an eye out for the paperwork. Messages will be sent when they are in bookbags and on the way.

Registration requirements for new Patriots

Registration will continue on Tuesdays and Thursdays for the remainder of the school year from 9:30-1:00 at for new Kindergarten students for the 2017-2018 school year. Your child must turn 5 on or before August 31, 2017. If you have any questions or need to come at a different time, please call our data manager Shannon Whaley and schedule an appointment.
