Shoutouts!

Thank you to Michelle Ballard, Robert Martinez and Becky Lutzke for stepping in and taking on additional classes after Ms. Garcia left. Your help is greatly appreciated and our students are so fortunate that you have stepped in to teach them.

New Restroom Procedures

Be advised that we will begin new procedures for student restroom privileges.
When students are in even numbered classrooms, they may use the restroom during 2nd, 4th, 6th, and 8th periods.

When students are in odd numbered classrooms, they may use the restroom during 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 9th periods.

This should reduce the amount of hallway traffic. Please continue to keep the logs for when students leave the room. These forms and the new odd-even restroom times will help us better track who may be responsible for graffiti and such that we are finding there.

A sign with this information has been placed in your mailbox. Please post it in your room as a reminder to students.

Also, please keep an eye out for students with Sharpie markers. We have found graffiti in the restrooms. Please collect any permanent markers that you see.

Your help with this is very much appreciated.

Move to the Right!

As you have undoubtedly noticed, some of our students are having trouble walking on one side of the hallway only. As you are standing by your door waiting to greet your students, please remind them to walk on the right side of the line, remind them of proper hallway behavior and please remember to compliment those who are behaving well.

Tools for Learning

Have you tried Quizlet? Quizlet is a free app that lets you create flash cards and other study tools. Why not give students a good reason to be on their phones at home? Check it out!

'Yote Cash • 'Yote Cash • 'Yote Cash

As you go about your instruction, keep some 'Yote Cash ready to give to students. We need to be rewarding those students who deserve recognition for their behavior, their manners, their helpfulness, etc. Be generous with them!
