First Family Newsletter

August 25, 2021

Dear St. Anne Parents,

It has been great having all of our students back in person this year. If nothing else, I am sure that the children have been well fed as so many of them have grown many inches since last time they were here in school. Everything so far has gone very smoothly. The teachers and I hope your children are enjoying this school year as much as we are.

We are able to offer many of our former After School Programs once again this year. The flyers and registration forms for these activities are included at the end of this newsletter. We have a few new activities to offer our students this year, so be sure to take a minute and look them over.

Again, if you have any questions, compliments, or concerns, please do not hesitate to call or email us. Thanks for helping to make this year's opening a smashing success!!!

BACK-TO-SCHOOL NIGHT - SEPT. 1 & 2

All of our Back to School Nights will be done via Zoom this year. Since the pandemic is still not totally under control, we felt it would be best to have our Back to School Night presentations done live, but virtual with our families. PLEASE NOTE: EACH CLASSROOM TEACHER WILL BE EMAILING HOME A SPECIFIC ZOOM LINK FOR HIS/HER BACK-TO-SCHOOL NIGHT ON MONDAY, AUGUST 30.

Back-to-School Night for Grades K - 5: Thursday, Sept. 2.

As in the past years the presentations in grades K-5 will be repeated for families who have more than one child in school. The first presentation will begin at 7:00 p.m. and repeated again at 7:30 p.m.

Back-to-School Night for Grades 6, 7, 8: Wednesday, Sept. 1

Once again, since students in grades 6, 7. 8 have all of our Jr. High teachers for classes, there will be a general session for all 6, 7, 8 parents starting at 7:00 p.m. The individual subject teachers will make a presentation to everyone in this general session. Following the general session, 6th grade parents will break out to a different Zoom so that Ms. Gotch can speak to those parents about the various activities and events for sixth grraders. 7th and 8th grade parents will remain on that Zoom for further discussion about issues dealing with 7th and 8th grade .
