Mr. Posick's Friday Thoughts

We had another great week of student and staff learning this week. Although the school year is quickly coming to a close, we are still spending our days with quality instruction and work opportunities. Tuesday was an awesome evening as we had our Spring Concerts and Art Show. Mrs. Bartelt, Mrs. Erato, and Ms. McGinnis did a fabulous job preparing out students to share their talents. Thanks to the wonderful volunteers who helped Mrs. Bartelt get the Little Theater set up for the evening.

End of the year

As the school year comes to a close, there are many end of the year activities for our students as well as forms that need to be completed. 5th to 6th grade looping letters were due today. 6th and 7th grade elective choices will be due on Friday, May 31st. These will be sent home next week with your child and will also be emailed to you on Tuesday, May 28th. 8th grade activity forms and payments were due today. These had been sent home with your child and also were emailed to you on Monday. If you have any questions regarding any of these forms, please contact me.

Memorial Day Weekend

This weekend was celebrated early by our staff. Staff were allowed to wear Jeans for Troops for a $5 donation both Thursday and Friday. The funds were provided to the G.I. Go Fund, a non-profit organization which assists our returning veterans with their transition back to civilian life by providing employment and educational opportunities as well as providing a direct path to their benefits. My hope is that you have a relaxing weekend with your family and friends and spend a moment or two to thank a veteran or current service person for their service to our country.
