EPS Staff Memo
Week Beginning Monday 8 February
Creatively requires TIME
As I have reflected on our first week I can confidently say that we have had a very positive start to the new school year. I have been really impressed by the orderly learning environment that has been quickly established and this bodes well for the rest of the term.
Thank you to everyone for the great work done in ensuring that everything was in tip top shape and ready for day one. The effort made in preparation for the students reflects the high regard you have for the work you do and the respect you have for the students and families we serve.
I would like to acknowledge how seamlessly our new staff have fitted in and made themselves at home. We are indeed privileged to welcome such high calibre professionals to our great Exeter Primary staff.
As we all get used to new timetables, classes and routines please be mindful of supporting each other and please ask if you need help.
Have a wonderful weekend!

There has been some discussion about the use of Reading Eggs with some grades requesting to use Sunshine Online instead of Reading Eggs. Could you please have a think about whether
- you use Reading Eggs successfully in your class and would like to continue using it
- you do not use Reading Eggs and would not be concerned if we did not continue using it
- You would rather use Sunshine Online
I will ask again in briefing on Monday. If you do not work on Monday, please contact Helen by email with your thoughts. This decision must be made by Wednesday 10 Feb.
If you haven't forwarded Karen your timetable and student information, please ensure you do by Monday morning.
Please ensure your personal information is up to date on ESS.
Please ensure you have emailed your page to Bec in the office by Tuesday afternoon, this is a change of time to that on the roster.
Would grade 3-6 teachers advise their students Mr Matt Dudfield will be visiting our school on Tuesday 9 Feb, straight after recess to present a Show and Tell session for any students interested in joining the Esk Band in 2016.
Just a remind of the process for supporting student behaviour. If you have exhausted all strategies and require senior staff support with a student, you are to contact the office and the office staff will locate a member of the leadership team to support you.
