Worthington Kilbourne Weekly News
Week of September 27, 2021
We have less than three weeks left in the grading period and we have Parent-Teacher Conferences this week and next. We asked all of our teachers to update their grades in Infinite Campus this past week and they should be relatively accurate. Please go to the portal to access I.C. and look over your student's grades. You can also use the Worthington Schools mobile app to check into the portal and navigate to I.C.
For the past 5 quarters, Ohio High School Athletic Association has waived eligibility requirements. However, this quarter's grades will determine if your student is eligible to participate in activities during the 2nd quarter. Students need to pass 5 classes--6 if they are taking a physical education class.
Finally, the first quarter grade and the second quarter grade will be averaged to determine the semester grade. We do not have midterm exams this school year and that data point does not figure into the grades. Remember, it is the semester grade that is reported on transcripts.
Sincerely,
Aric Thomas, Principal / athomas@wscloud.org / 614-450-6400

Junior College Information Night / Wednesday, September 29 at 7 p.m.
PreACT will be offered at WKHS to sophomores and juniors
The PreACT will be offered at Worthington Kilbourne High School to sophomores and juniors, beginning at 7:45 a.m. on Monday, November 8th, in the Main Gym. Check-in will begin at 7:30 a.m.
Students can register for the PreACT by completing the PREACT REGISTRATION FORM from October 1st through October 22nd. Please click here to register. The cost for the test is $16. Payment will be submitted through MyPaymentsPlus. Testing will be limited to 200 students.
