Northland Library Connections
Expand Your PLN: Meet-Ups for Casual Learning
What is Northland Library Connections?
Last summer we launched the Northland Library Connections to network in a more casual setting, escaping the isolation we sometimes feel. The Northland area enjoys six school districts (Kearney, Liberty, North Kansas City, Park Hill, Platte County R-3 and Smithville) whose librarians/media specialists are doing some amazing things. We gathered together to exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere like an EdCamp or unconference, once in June and once in July. The feedback we received was positive and most would like to do this again only at a different time and meet in June for sure. This is an opportunity to put a face with a name for those of you who only know each other through social media, and will include an opportunity to continue conversations at dinner afterwards.
While our vision is for there to be as little structure as possible, please complete this form to include what you would like to talk about/collaborate on at the event.
We'll meet at the South Valley Middle School Media Center on June 7th from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. If you would like to join the meet-ups, please put us on your calendar! If you have more questions, feel free to reach out using contact information for each district.
