KKid's Holiday Food Pantry Food Drive December 10th-14th
Please bring in food for each day and the class with the most donated items will receive a party the following week!
Monday: Macaroni Monday (pastas, pasta sauce, etc.)
Tuesday: Taco Tuesday (tortillas, taco shells, canned beans, canned tomatoes, tortilla chips, taco mix, etc.)
Wednesday: Waffle Wednesday (breakfast items - cereal, pancake mix, syrup, poptarts, etc.)
Thursday: Three-Item Thursday (Peanut butter, bread, and jelly)
Friday: Freebie Friday (any other non-perishable food item)
Danville Winterland Holiday Light Show
Come see some of your favorite staff members from South Elementary as they greet cars for Winterland at the Danville Ellis Park. South staff will work the gate on Tuesday, December 4. Hours for Winterland are 6:00-9:00 p.m. Admission is $5.00, Monday - Thursday. Friday - Sunday, admission is $10. Winterland is open daily thru December 30. They are closed Christmas Day.

It’s that time again! We’re getting ready for Santa Shop and need volunteers. Shopping days are December 10th-14th. It’s usually best to not sign up for when your child’s class shops so they can surprise you with what they personally chose for you!

Free Money for Our Schools
Kroger Community Rewards Program
If you shop at Kroger, every time you shop, you could be helping Danville North and South Elementary. The Danville PTO is enrolled in the Kroger Community Rewards Program. If you shop at Kroger and swipe your rewards card, you will automatically make money for our school if you enroll in the program. This program does NOT cost you anything and does not alter your fuel points or other rewards in any way. It will take about 5 minutes to create an online account, but you only have to do this one time. Instructions are below. If you have any questions, please contact ptodanville@yahoo.com
TO USE THE KROGER COMMUNITY REWARDS PROGRAM:
Create an account at krogercommunityrewards.com
Be sure to have your Kroger Plus card handy
If you do not have a Kroger Plus card, they are available at the customer service desk at any Kroger.
Click on Sign In/Register
Most participants are new online customers, so they must click on SIGN UP TODAY in the ‘New Customer?’ box.
Sign up for a Kroger Rewards Account by entering zip code, clicking on favorite store, entering your email address and creating a password, agreeing to the terms and conditions (you do not have to shop at the store you choose as your favorite.
You will then get a message to check your email inbox and click on the link within the body of the email.
Click on My Account and use your email address and password to proceed to the next step.
Click on Edit Kroger Community Rewards information and input your Kroger Plus card number.
Update or confirm your information.
Enter Danville PTO, select organization from list and click on confirm.
To verify you are enrolled correctly, you will see your organization’s name on the right side of your information page.
- Members must swipe their registered Kroger Plus card or use the phone number that is related to their registered Kroger Plus card when shopping for each purchase to count.

Pee Wee Baseball Registration
The Pee Wee Baseball League is available to boy and girls ages 4 thru 7. We provide an instructional and enjoyable baseball program that has been a favorite of children and their families for over 40 years. With our only focus on this age group, we continually strive to make our league "something special".
