School Starts Tomorrow!
Hello Castle Rock Families!
We are so excited to welcome our students back to class tomorrow! Class starts online at 8:00am sharp; please be ready to learn with a full tummy and a productive space to work. A huge thank you to the many people who have been working tirelessly to ensure tomorrow is a wonderful success for our students.
By now you should have heard from your child's teacher about how to access their class. Please remember to check your spam/junk mail folders to ensure their messages have not ended up there! Sometimes messages from our Aeries email system filter in to junk mail boxes. If you find it there, please add us to your "safe sender" list.
For help at any time, please email our technology help desk (firstname.lastname@example.org), or call our office. We have Google classroom codes and Zoom links ready to go just in case!
Now...breathe! While there will undoubtedly be bumps in the road, we will get through them. If your child has not yet logged into their Chromebook, google classroom, etc., we recommend you do so today. If you are having trouble logging in, please scroll down for some tips and suggestions.

**Note, if your child is new to Walnut Valley, default passwords were included in the email you received today. Please check that email for the default password.
***If you are logging into a district chromebook, the username is XXXXXX@stu.wvusd.org (six digit lunch ID first; your chromebook may default to @g.wvusd.k12.ca.us; keep typing and it will disappear). The password is the same as the one your child used last year, OR the default passwords provided in today's email (dated 8/9/2020).

If you have not yet done so, please complete the re-registration process for your child on Aeries Parent Portal. Your child’s teacher assignment will be visible in Parent Portal beginning at 8:00 am on Tuesday, August 4. For help with the re-registration process, please see below.
