The Hawk Talk
'Together, We Can Make a Difference' April 27, 2018
Principal's Message
M.L.K. often spoke about using your heart and head to face challenges. He, like other great leaders, would admit that they too faced fears and doubts when addressing an opportunity that could be tough. At the same time, these leaders did not let their doubts and fears stop them from taking on challenges. They dug deep, used their resources, and gave their best effort to reach their goals.
There is a saying, “You lose some and you win some, but if you never try you never win.” It is our duty as families and educators to grow and challenge our students. It is on us to allow them to learn from their wins and losses as they establish a can-do attitude that will be necessary to face the challenges they will experience in life. We get five more weeks as a 2017-2018 Hawk Team. How will you challenge your student(s) to get the most out of this time? Have a wonderful weekend! Mr. Butler
