Rosa Parks Elementary Staff News
December 9 - 13
A good teacher knows how to teach the standards. A great teacher knows how to teach their students. An outstanding teacher knows how to teach both.
Message from Kent
As the principal, I continue to be stretched in my thinking, learning, and understanding specifically as it applies to developing a structure at our campus that focuses on data driven instruction. How can I continue to evaluate my actions to reflect student growth and ownership of their learning.
Our goals as a holistic campus will always center around support for each other’s learning in order to make a direct impact on student outcomes.

Challenge of the Week
Think of a student who is behaved and always works well, but they might not stand out as a top student. Call that student's parent/guardian with some praise. Complete a positive office referral for the student.
***To extend our challenge, I encourage you to share on Twitter something this student has done. Be sure to check that they can be photographed. Be sure to include @RPE_Rockets and #RPEweeklychallenge
