Important Information

School Meals Payment Information

As a reminder, the federal program to waive the cost of meals for all students has expired. Families can make online payments for student meals at SchoolCafe.

In addition, the district is asking that QCSD families fill out 2022-2023 Free & Reduced Meal Applications. Households must submit a new application each school year unless they receive a Direct Certification letter, which was mailed by the district in mid-August.

A situation has arisen for families with students on Free and Reduced Meals where your child may be charged for not taking enough items to qualify as a reimbursable meal. This is a federal regulation. Here’s information on what a meal consists of. Please speak with your student(s) to avoid this issue.

Click here to access all information about Free & Reduced meals in QCSD.

If you have questions, please email sreiss@qcsd.org or call 215-529-2012.

Attendance, Safe Arrival App, and School Trips

School starts at 9:20 AM. Any student arriving after this time is considered tardy. If any student arrives late, he/she must stop at the office before going to class to get a tardy slip.

To report an absence, use the School Messenger / Safe Arrival process. DOWNLOAD THE APP HERE. Please CLICK HERE for detailed instructions on how to report your child’s absence.

Family Trips – Vacation Form

If you are taking a family trip, please fill out THIS FORM and submit it to the QE office at least 10 days in advance of the trip. Trips are limited to 5 school days. See the form for more details.

Please don't forget that the order for mums is due on Thursday, September 8, and delivery of the mums will take place on September 21 and 22. Please ask your homeroom teacher OR Mrs. Baver (mbaver@qcsd.org) for an order form if you lost yours.

Technology Insurance and Device Distribution

This is the last week to get those ADP (insurance) payments in. If you selected to pay by cash/check, please complete the attached form and bring it to the District Office with your payment in an envelope. We kindly ask that you do not send cash payments to the schools. We have extended the deadline. Payment must be received by Friday 9/2/22. ADP is an annual fee that needs to be renewed each year, even if you did not use it in the prior year. English: ADP Cash_Check Form 22-23.pdf Spanish: ADP Cash_Check Form 22-23 Spanish.pdf

Thank you to those of you that attended our device distribution days. We understand that many of you were unable to pick up on the designated days or are new to the district and are eager to get your student's device. Due to the high number of devices that need to be distributed, we are unable to take requests for individual pick up appointments. The Technology Team has been bringing devices directly to the schools for distribution, so no further action is necessary. Thank you for your patience!
