Knox's Third Graders Visit Zionsville Meadows

Third graders from Miss Knox's class visited Zionsville Meadows on Wednesday. Mia Seiler and Alena Sampson wrote: We handed out colored art and worked on talking to elderly adults. It was fun spreading cheer to the residents of Zionsville Meadows.

The students really loved the trip!

Zionsville Passing Flag Football League: Grades 2nd-6th

Zionsville Passing Flag Football League is designed to give student athletes an opportunity to participate in football without pads and contact. Practice/Games will be on the same day once a week. There will be 30-40 minutes of practice immediately followed by 80-90 minutes of multiple games. High School/Middle School coaches will be running the practices and games with assistance from ZYFL youth league coaches. We will focus on developing the skills needed to execute and defend the passing game. All participants will have an opportunity to run routes, catch footballs, and defend receivers in practice and games. There is no blocking or tackling involved in the league. Teams will consist of 5 v 5 on a condensed field. Quarterbacks will be selected through an evaluation process. The teams will be grouped by grade level (possibly combining grades 2/3, and 4/5/6 depending on the number of signups). Jerseys will be provided with signups as well as mouthpieces and flags. Football or soccer cleats are recommended but no metal baseball spikes. Registration closes March 25, 2018.

Playground Access Times

Parents this is just friendly reminder with warm weather around the corner that all elementary playgrounds are reserved for our students from 6:45A-6:00P Monday – Friday. To insure the safety of all students we must ask that the public refrain from being on the school playgrounds during this time.

CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECKS FOR VOLUNTEERS

CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECKS FOR VISITORS

During the school day, all visitors must enter via the front door and sign-in at the front office.
