3 Thought Provoking Questions + 1 Key Element of Effective Questioning
There is much to know about effective questioning in the classroom, but it doesn't have to be overwhelming. All teachers, no matter the grade or subject they teach, can immediately begin to transform their classrooms into engaging think tanks by using three simple questions and remembering one key principle of effective questioning.
ASK:
1. What do you think? (or predict, believe, conclude, etc.)
2. Why do you think that?
3. How do you know this?
THEN:
4. Wait
