Happy Holidays!
It is hard to believe the Holiday Break is already here! We celebrated another delightful Holiday Program earlier this week. What makes this evening so special is that the entire Lincoln Community comes together for a wonderful event. It was great to see all of the children come together after hours of practice to perform for the community.
I'd like to wish each family a special holiday. The holiday season is a time for joy and happiness. Enjoy this wonderful time of year by spending time with family and friends. Have a wonderful holiday!

2015-2016 National PTA Reflections Contest results
Congratulations to second graders Pete Benoit and Logan West on their advancing Reflections entries to Regionals. Pete's film "The Holiday Cheer" and Logan's story "Magic Bubbles" will be competing next against students from Naperville, Glen Ellyn, Carol Stream and Wheaton. Students advancing from Regionals will then go to State and then Nationals.
Congratulations are also in order for kindergartners Sydney Fils and Penny Jodelka for their Reflections Theme Search entries. Lincoln entered 11 of the 38 entries received for the state of Illinois. Illinois will be advancing 5 Theme Search entries to Nationals; 2 from our kindergarten class! Should Penny's theme "When I look around I see..." or Sydney's theme "The Colors of Us" be chosen winner, they will receive $100 and be recognized at the National PTA Convention in June 2016.
